The best bin ever !

"We previously had one of these and it has been the best bin ever , perfect neat size and even matches our kitchen exactly, many asking ‘did it come with the kitchen ! So was very sad after 3 or 4 years regular use the hinge to the top bin was beyond repair, So there was no question of replacing with another type of bin as we cannot fault the Joseph Joseph 40L totem bin apart from perhaps a stronger hinge so we just ordered the same and it so good to have it , just love it !"

PERFECT!!

"I can't believe I'm so excited about a bin. I ordered the stainless steel bin. It fits perfectly in my tiny kitchen and looks excellent in situ. The top and bottom sections are a perfect size for our usage. No more messy bags for recycling. The ability to roll out tge lower bin is brilliant. I unbowed it while my husband was out, he was just as excited as I was when he saw it."

What a great bin

"We stayed in a holiday cottage with this bin in the kitchen and were so impressed we came home and bought one. Our old bin was ugly and we then had separate baskets for other recycling and this bin replace them all, decluttering our kitchen and utility room in one stroke. It appears to be really well made and the charcoal filter ensures smells from any food waste are minimal if non-existent. We are really pleased with it and would definitely recommend one!"

Smart looking bin

"Smart, functional bin, I use the top part for general waste and the bottom section for mixed recyclables. My only gripe is that the bin lid is not soft close or auto close and you have to push it back down, which isn't a problem but the metal is not finger print proof so it ends up with finger smudges. For the cost I feel it should auto close, opening is not a problem as you just tap the metal bar. , shame it couldn't close the same way. as I would of given it 5 stars, however ,I like it's look and other functions."

Why didn’t you tell me this is so small?

"I didn’t know it was so small. You did not make that clear. My stainless version is broken. The lid snapped off. I thought I was replacing it with a matte version, on sale. This Tiny one is almost useless. I didn’t return it, because I did not want to deal with the hassle."

Efficient use of soace

"Love this. Although large for my small kitchen it saves so much space. Using the lower container as 2 parts, recycling and papers. The food caddy within the upper area saves yet another ‘bucket’ around the kitchen. Love it."
